Subprocessors

Who helps us run Rukh, what each one does with your data, and where.

1. Providers that process data for us

These providers handle personal data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us. See the Privacy Policy for why we use your data and your rights.

  • Email provider (Amazon SES planned)

What it does: Sends waitlist, trial and billing emails once enabled.

Data involved: Email address and message content.

Where: To be stated here when enabled.

2. Data source, not a processor

chess.com is where we read public game data from, using its public API by username. It does not process data for us and we send it nothing but the username in the request. Rukh is not affiliated with chess.com.

3. Changes to this list

We update this page when we add or replace a provider and change the date at the top. For a material change, such as a new provider receiving coaching data, we email subscribers first. To be told about changes, or to object, email support@rukh.cc (opens in a new tab).
