How does the free trial work?
The trial lasts 7 days and needs a card, or a UPI Autopay mandate in India. $0 is charged today. Your card is charged on the day the trial ends unless you cancel first. The pricing card above shows the exact amount and date.
Will I be reminded before I am charged?
Yes. We email you before the trial ends with the amount and the date. You can cancel from the customer portal with one click, no questions asked.
How do I cancel?
Open the customer portal from your account, or email support@rukh.cc (opens in a new tab) and we will do it for you. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Cancel later and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
What is your refund policy?

What is the early-bird price?
People on the waitlist get a lower price for their first year: $9 a month or $59 a year (₹349 or ₹1,999 in India). We email waitlist members a link that applies it at checkout. After the first year the regular price applies, and we email you before it changes.
Which currency will I pay in?
Visitors in India see rupees (INR) and can pay by UPI Autopay or card. Everyone else pays in US dollars by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay where available. You can switch the currency on this page. A UPI or Indian-card payment needs an Indian billing country.
How does UPI Autopay work?
You approve a mandate once in your UPI app. Before each charge your bank sends a pre-debit notification, and the debit goes out about two days later, so a renewal can take up to two days to confirm. Your access carries on while it does. You can cancel the mandate in your UPI app or in the customer portal.
What about taxes, and who is the seller?
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments (opens in a new tab), our merchant of record. Dodo is the seller of record, collects and pays any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies, and sends your invoice. The tax for your location is shown at checkout before you pay. Dodo may appear on your card statement.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, from the customer portal. If you pay with UPI Autopay, plan changes take effect at your next renewal.
Do I need to give a card to try the free preview?
No. The preview is free, needs only a chess.com username and no signup. The card is only for the coach trial.
